Genealogy

“Middle English: via Old French and late Latin from Greek genealogia, from genea ‘race, generation’ + -logia (see -logy)”

The Oxford English Dictionary defines genealogy as:-

  • A line of descent traced continuously from an ancestor.
  • The study and tracing of lines of descent.
  • A plant’s or animal’s line of evolutionary development from earlier forms.

Your Heritage & Legacy

Genealogy methodically seeks to discover one’s ancestors and place them in time, learning about their ethnic, social, and geographical origins.

The heritage we discover of our ancestors speaks to us now in the present, but it will also speak to our descendants who will continue the family into the future.
